Water quality monitoring training in Mozambique - June 2017

Training on drinking water quality monitoring

Maputo, 5-8 June 2017

A 4-day theoretical and practical training on drinking water quality monitoring was conducted in Maputo in the framework of the project SMALL. The training aimed at developing capacities of the local partners (University Eduardo Mondlane and Collins) on the practical aspects of monitoring before starting the field research. The training was designed in order to maximise the time spent gaining practical experience on microbiological and physico-chemical analyses.

The training was led by Mr. Harold van den Berg of the Dutch National Institute for Public Health and the Environment and Dr. Giuliana Ferrero of IHE Delft.
